The second upside of everyone stinking at trivia night several weeks in a row is that it has happened before, and The Powers That Be are pretty good about adjusting the difficulty level downwards. Then, eventually, most of the teams get to the last question with scores in the upper 50s (the highest possible score is 63), and the questions get hard again. It's an endless cycle, sort of like control of Congress.

11. Could OZPINHEAD be in the wizard of oz?
Well just to let you know I did come by to see the second half. I have exactly no guesses, though, so you'll hear no complaining from me about when you post the answers. I am wondering, though, do all giraffes spend the same amount of time sleeping? It seems like that would have to be a generalization. "They" also tell you new babies sleep for 20 hours a day, and that's a lie. I think giraffe sleeping time must vary too.
I expect it does vary. But the question is how much the "average" giraffe spends sleeping. After an extensive search and a great deal of statistical modeling, scientists have located The average giraffe, one Herb Stevens of the Yankari Game Reserve in Nigeria. So really, the question is, how much time (on average, of course) does Herb spend sleeping each day?
I suspect it depends on whether Herb is being filmed by those pesky Discovery Channel cameras, can't they see a giraffe needs his beauty sleep?
10. Boris Becker
11. Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. This one, I think, is easier in print than spoken.

13. A&P
14. 1984
15. Farrah, a faucet. No, really.
16. Herb sleeps 20 minutes a day
17. They said the answer was 1913, but it's really 1912. Not that it matters, because we weren't even close.
I could get a lot more done if I were an average giraffe.
